This is ThermoBar’s heated hose for ThermoBar 65 ECO. ThermoBar’s heated hose simplifies supplying your animals with
water in the winter. The system is insulated and heated so the hose can be used in temperatures down to approx. -40°C
without freezing. With a quick connector and a plug it is easy to mount the hose and also easy to disconnect it when the
ThermoBar needs to be cleaned or moved. Together with ThermoBar’s Rojo float valve you have automatic refilling all
year round.
It is possible to use several water sources with spiral hoses and move the ThermoBar and heated hose between them. As the
system only uses 24 volts to heat the hose, it safely keeps water from freezing. If there is a power outage and it does freeze,
it will thaw fast once power is on again. With the float valve under the surface of the heated water, the entire system is
weather proof.
NB – When you have animals and electricity together, it is important that you only use low voltage, 24 volts. If the system
somehow gets damaged, remember that water conducts electricity. We STRONGLY advise against using 230-volt water
refilling systems in our ThermoBars due to the risks involved for the animals.

Description

The heated hose is connected with a quick connector to the float valve. The other end is connected to a spiral hose with a
quick connector or connected directly to the DN 20 with the internal thread. To connect to a power source we have a
specialised solution: The heated hose’s low-voltage cable is connected with a flat pin plug to ThermoBar 65 ECO’s
transformer. On the low-voltage cable there is an extra socket. The ThermoBar’s low-voltage cable is connected here. It is
simple to do yourself, just watch the video below so it is clear which low-voltage cable is connected where.
